From the Authors
Lou Ferreri has always drawn animals. His relationship to the animal kingdom includes several
close encounters—he's been circled by cougars, surrounded by elephants, and chased by a guard dog.
As a 5-year-old, he broke his nose while chasing the family dog under a bed. In grade school,
he took care of the class rabbit for a week. The rabbit lived.
Ferreri lives in St. Paul, Minn., with his wife, daughter, three cats, two goldfish, and
a foster frog. When not working in his studio or writing at his computer, he teaches
drawing, painting, and sculpture.
Ostrich Logic and all Lou Ferreri animal drawings can be found annually at the
Minnesota Renaissance Festival or ordered through this web site.
