On a single summer day in 1961, six 40-something Jewish friends a psychiatrist, a rabbi, two women who have both loved the same man, and two men who are contentious business partners meet on the Mississippi River for a cabin cruiser outing, little realizing that their river journey will also be a journey of another kind, complete with its own navigational hazards.

Through the sharing of their personal secrets and memories, from the perils of marriage and the emptiness brought on by the loss of faith, to the fear of dying not having lived a meaningful life, the friends explore many of the big issues of contemporary life.

Join a memorable group of people on their journey through life.
